Services
Susan Friedman Orthodontics offers the following services for aligning teeth:
Metal Braces

Metal braces are the most conventional and cost-effective way of moving teeth. They are made of high-grade space age metal alloys that are bonded to the teeth. Wires are then held into the brackets using rubber bands. The rubber bands come in all different colors, allowing the patient to customize the look of their braces. At Susan Friedman Orthodontics, we use one of the smallest brackets on the market.
Ceramic Braces

Ceramic braces are made with clear material,
so they are less noticeable than metal braces. Ceramic brackets are larger than traditional
metal braces, requiring more attention to
oral hygiene. For patients with aesthetic
concerns, ceramic braces are an
excellent option. Between orthodontic visits,
the rubber bands that hold the wires in
place can discolor when eating
certain foods.
Clear Aligners

Patients are given a series of clear trays
that are changed on average every
two weeks. The trays gradually move your
teeth into the desired alignment.
They are removed when you eat and drink
so there are no restrictions in your diet.
You remove them when you brush and floss,
making it easier to clean your teeth.
